Southern Fire Exchange: The Southern Fire Exchange (SFE) is a fire science delivery program in the Southeast, funded by the Joint Fire Science Program in agreement with the United States Forest Service, Southern Research Station. With our key partners, we strive to improve access to and usefulness of southern fire science information and offer opportunities for the fire community to interact and learn from one another.

Mule Deer Foundation: The mission of the Mule Deer Foundation is to ensure the conservation of mule deer, black-tailed deer and their habitat. The Mule Deer Foundation is the only conservation group in North America dedicated to restoring, improving, and protecting mule deer and black-tailed deer and their habitat, with a focus on science and program efficiency. Our conservation programs combined with our grassroots support are the foundation of who we are as an organization. We are committed to sustaining our western deer populations by ensuring quality habitat in the areas deer need on a daily, seasonal, and yearly basis. Our conservation efforts are delivered through efforts by MDF staff and in partnership with state and federal agencies as well as other non-profit organizations. MDF is also a strong voice for public access, wildlife management, and conservation policy issues. We support regulated hunting as a viable component to wildlife management and we are committed to mentoring the next generation of sportsmen and women into the traditions of hunting, shooting sports, and conservation.

Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes: The Flathead Indian Reservation is home to three tribes, the Bitterroot Salish, Upper Pend d’Oreille, and the Kootenai. The territories of these three tribes covered all of western Montana and extended into parts of Idaho, British Columbia and Wyoming. The Hellgate Treaty of 1855 established the Flathead Reservation, but over half a million acres passed out of Tribal ownership during land allotment that began in 1904.

USGS Western Geographic Science Center: Our Western Geographic Science Center (WGSC) priority is to continue the important work of the Department of the Interior and the USGS, while also maintaining the health and safety of our employees and the community. Based on guidance from the White House, the CDC, and state and local authorities, we are shifting our operations to a virtual mode and have minimal staf

Nevada Department of Wildlife: The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) is the state agency responsible for the restoration and management of fish and wildlife resources, and the promotion of boating safety on Nevada’s waters. NDOW is organized into seven divisions (Conservation Education, Habitat, Game, Data and Technology Services, Law Enforcement, Wildlife Diversity and Fisheries) that develop programs and projects, and three regions (eastern, southern and western) that implement these programs.

New Mexico Game and Fish: It is the mission of New Mexico’s Game and Fish Department: “To conserve, regulate, propagate and protect the wildlife and fish within the state of New Mexico using a flexible management system that ensures sustainable use for public food supply, recreation and safety; and to provide for off-highway motor vehicle recreation that recognizes cultural, historic, and resource values while ensuring public safety.”

Arizona Game and Fish Department: Arizona is rich in wildlife diversity, ranking among the top five states in the nation when it comes to the total number of native bird, reptile and mammal species – more than 800.

Wyoming Game and Fish Department: The Wyoming Game and Fish Department strategic plan builds upon Wyoming's long partnership between inspiring conservationists, the recreation community and the agency employees. Idaho Fish and Game: Idaho Fish and Game's mission is to protect, preserve, perpetuate and manage Idaho's wildlife resources.

Haskell Indian Nations University: Haskell Indian Nations University (HINU) is the premiere tribal university in the United States, offering quality education to Native American students. Haskell’s faculty and staff is also predominantly native. Through the Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program (WHIP), Haskell has been able to create a pit pond that was modified to control the water level. Controlling the water level will help Haskell benefit the wildlife that pass through and/or live on campus. Besides creating another water source, Haskell planted some of the pasturelands back to tallgrass prairie.

Great Plains Fire Science Exchange: The Great Plains Fire Science Exchange exists to assist land managers and the fire community to make sound decisions based on the best possible information.

Playa Lakes Joint Venture: Our purpose is to find solutions to address habitat conservation challenges in the western Great Plains so that birds and other wildlife, agricultural producers, and local communities all prosper and thrive in this landscape.
