Using SDM to Ensure Landscape Scale Sustainability for Natural and Cultural Resources

Provides an overview of the South Atlantic LCC and the structured decision making process.

Rua  Morticai is the Science Coordinator for the South Atlantic Landscape Conservation Cooperative. He focuses on the technical details of integrating science and partners to help the cooperative define, design, and implement a shared vision of landscape sustainability. Before joining the staff of the SALCC in October 2010, he served as the Southeast U.S. Bird Monitoring Coordinator for the private, state, and federal conservation partnership Southeast Partners in Flight. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Georgia in 2007 for work on the distribution of species and communities at multiples scales.
